Woods Cycle Country Also Offers This Additional Services
- State of Texas Inspection Stickers. (note that starting in 2017 inspections are fully digitial and no physical stickers are issued or placed on the vehicle)
- Used motor vehicle certified appraisals (needed to register a vehicle valued at less than NADA retail). If you have purchased a vehicle from an individual that is worth less than the NADA listed amount then you will need a document from a certified service facility backing up the claim that the vehicle has some issue or condition that would cause it to be valued at the purchase price you are claiming on the title application.
- Winterization of PWCs (which includes all of the following):
- Preventing dead batteries by servicing your battery and connecting a battery tender lead so that you can maintain your battery over the winter (the cost of a new battery is $60-$120)
- Preventing internal engine rust by fogging the inside of your motor with a special lubricant and displacing any water vapor inside the crankcase (cost to rebuild a motor $2000-$4000)
- Prevent freeze/expansion damage by adding coolant to the cylinder water jackets to displace any water that might freeze in the motor (cylinder replacement $1000 - $1500)
- Prevent stale fuel from clogging up the carbs or blocking the injectors by stabilizing the fuel system (cost to rebuild carbs $300 - Cost to replace injectors $1200)
- Prevent rust on internal/external pivot points by lubricating them with grease
- Checking and performing any outstanding recalls on the PWC.
- De-winterization of PWCs. De-winterizing a PWC involves getting the vehicle re-started for the riding season. Please note the following 2 items.
- A PWC that was not winterized cannot be de-winterized.
- Winterizing and de-winterizing does not take the place of regularly scheduled maintenance as outlined in your owner's manual.
