Meet Our Staff
Mark Woods grew up in Texas and earned his CPA from Texas Tech University in Lubbock Texas. Mark's father Paul Woods founded Woods Honda in Austin, Texas (which is now Woods Fun Center) more than 35 years ago. Mark took over the day to day operation of the dealership after college. After selling Woods Fun Center, (click the link to read more about it) Mark purchased New Braunfels Cycle Country in 2006 and renamed the dealership Woods Cycle Country. Mark is now a resident of New Braunfels, and splits his time between New Braunfels and Austin.
Hello, My name is Claudia Woods. I was born in Dallas, Texas and attended Mountain View Junior College where I received an Associate Degree in Business. Mark and I have been married for 30 fun-filled, adventurous years and have been blessed with a daughter, Cayce who is 26 and a son, Paul who is 23. We moved to New Braunfels 4 years ago and just love it here. Now that our children are grown I have time to come help out at Woods Cycle Country. We have a great group of people to help you with your riding needs. Our showroom is stocked full with motorcycles to ride or race, Watercraft, and ATVs and UTVs for both work and play. Stop by and see us!
Mark J. SheffieldGeneral Manager
Thanks for taking the time out to visit the employee page of our website. For those of you who want to know a little about me, here goes: I was born in England (just north of London)and I have lived all over the world. I graduated from High School in Lumberton, Texas and 6 days later shipped off to Basic Training at Fort Leonard Wood. I traveled all over the world with the Army (including 9 months with the 1st Armored Division in Southeast Asia during operation Desert Storm). I finished my military service on a Monday in 1993 and started work at a small motorcycle dealership located just outside of Fort Hood on a Tuesday.
At this point, the PowerSports industry is all I know. Over the last 18 years I have worked at one of the largest multi-line dealerships in the United States, the second Honda Powerhouse dealership (Honda of Houston) in the nation, and I worked for a corporation that owned 17 dealerships across the country (America's PowerSports). While Woods Cycle Country is not one of the mega flashy dealerships that are all the rage right now, our modest dealership allows us to keep our overhead low, and we pass those savings on to our customers.
Sharon RinconOffice Manager
Hi! I have been with Woods Cycle Country since April 2006. I am fairly new to the motorcycle business, but I have been in the automotive retail industry for 23 years (including World Car here in New Braunfels). Even though I am new to the motorcycle business, my husband has been a rider for years. I have been married for 26 years to an incredible man and have one son, Richard, who is 25. This is great place to work and a fantastic place to shop and visit. It's never been so easy for me to get up and drive into work. We're like a big family here. If you have any questions then stop by the office or just pop in to say "hi".
Joe SilvernailSales Manager
Powersports have always been a part of my life. I practically grew up on two wheels and I'm proud to say that from my first 50cc dirt bike to the ZX6 I ride today, I've never had a bike that wasn't lime green. I graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Business Management and have since turned my enthusiasm for the industry into a career. I'm excited to be a part of the team here at Woods Cycle Country and wouldn't want to live anywhere else but the Hill Country.
Andrew DoddParts Manager
Hi, I'm Andrew from Nashville, Tennessee! I have only been in Texas a few years now, but really feel at home, especially in my position here with WCC! I've been with the company since February, 2010, although I've worked in the motorcycle industry since I was 18. My passion for two wheels started early when I was about 3 or 4 years old, with my first Honda xr 50, and my first street bike (ZX-6) when I was 14 a little much but it's only as fast as you twist it. In my time I have owned many bikes and currently have a rather large selection in my garage right now . I've mastered a few stunts in my time, also checked myself in and out of the hospital a few times, and some scars and broken bones to go with it. I've tried to put that behind me with the birth of my son Maddox, in 2009. I have tried to focus on him riding his pw50 and I'm not going to lie it's scary! Can you say FULL THROTTLE? I live, eat, breathe two wheels and I truly enjoy everything involved with this industry look forward to meeting new people and hearing stories of The Ride. Don't be afraid to come in and ask for me.
Charlie HendersonService Manager
Hi everyone! My name is Charlie Henderson. I am the Service Manager at Woods Cycle Country. I have been in motorcycle service for the last 18 years. 15 of those years I have been with the Woods Family working in their dealerships. I started working with Mark Woods at the Fun Center in Austin 18 years ago as a Service Advisor with aspirations to become a technician. The Woods family gave me the opportunity to pursue my passion and I became a factory trained technician for Suzuki, Yamaha, Kawasaki and Bombardier. I enjoy riding and wrenching and am the proud owner of a 2009 Kawasaki Concours that I purchased from Cycle Country. I enjoy working at Cycle Country because of the family atmosphere and the standard of excellence which our staff and technicians provide. Justin TindallFinance Supervisor
My name is Justin I have been working at woods since 2006. I love my job. Heck I don't even consider it a job since I love what I do so much. I recently became engaged to my girlfriend Megan. She just graduated from nursing school and I couldn't be more proud of her. I enjoy a nice afternoon on the beach or lounging around at home. I look forward to moving here to New Braunfels soon to buy a home and start a family.
Sam BartaDream Fulfillment
Everyone has a small part of this industry somewhere inside! I threw my leg over my first motorcycle at the age of 4 and have never turned back. I went through all sizes of dirt bikes and finally landed on my recent purchase of the 2012 KX250F. I BLEED LIME GREEN!. I started here at Woods Cycle Country 3 years ago in the Parts Department and have since made my way to the Sales Floor. Look for the desk near the motocross section and I'll be glad to introduce myself.
Kyle BrownSales Associate / Comedy relief and budding artist
I have been working in the industry for 3 years now with everything from boats to bikes, ATV's and UTV's. Tuesday through Saturday you can find me on the sales floor, with a bag of popcorn, making dreams come true. Monday and Sunday I can usually be found in the hill country on two wheels or out on the lake with a cold beverage and a ski rope in my hand.

Hey y'all, I'm Joseph Roberts, JR for short, and I grew up with power sports. At too young of an age probably, I began spending any free time riding ATVs and PWCs. When I'm not at work, I work to hone my skills as a professional racer. I eat, sleep, breathe, and train watercraft racing. If you need anything let me know and I will do the best that I can do to meet you expectations.
I lived in Lubbock, Texas for almost 8 years and received my Masters from Texas Tech University. Since then, I've moved down to New Braunfels and I'm glad to be back in the Hill Country again. I have been around the Powersports industry my whole life & now I'm excited to be a part of it. When I'm not at work you can find me hunting at the ranch or fishing the Gulf Coast. Stop in and see me for all of your outdoor recreational vehicle or motorcycle needs.

Born and raised on the east coast, I came to Texas in 1975 by way of Houston. I met my husband of 30 years in Houston. We moved to Martindale in 1980 and are still in the same location. I came to Woods Cycle Country in November of 2007. I've worked at several other places and must admit that I enjoy coming to the office everyday here at Wood's Cycle Country. Since I work in the office I don't get to meet most of you but I know your name. Drop by the office and say hello when you visit us.

I grew up in Lumberton Texas. All my spare time growing up was spent on four-wheelers and dirt bikes so you could say I LOVE PowerSports. After I graduated High School I attended Lamar University for 2 semesters. I currently live in San Marcos and I am enrolled in Texas State University, working on my Bachelors degree in Electronic Media (Sound Recording). I spend my days off being as active as possible, whether it's hiking, biking, or playing in the river. When you have the time, stop by and see me!

Hi, I'm Casey. I was born in Corpus Christi, TX and I moved to San Antonio in 1998. I graduated from Boerne High School in 2003. Wayne RansbergerLead Technician
I graduated from mmi in 1995 with "top tech" in suzuki. I spent 5 years at another dealership in san antonio.."cutting my teeth" until I was given the opportunity to come to New Braunfels and do the job I loved, so I took a chance and have been here for the last 12 years....yup..12 years. I love the challenges that I see everyday, and no two days are ever the same. so it keeps life interesting. I have found a community i love and people I like, to work for and with. I may not get to say hi to very many customer as we are usually always busy in the shop, but I have always enjoyed the interaction I do get to have with customers. being in New Braunfels.. We sometimes arent the most convenient shop to use for some people. but if you give us a try, we will do our best to make it worth it to come back.
My name is Colby Manning, I have been wrenching on Motorcycles and ATV’s for a little more than 15 years now and I love what I do. I started out riding dirt bikes around the yard, then through the woods and finally racing motocross through most of my twenties. Nowadays you can find me draft-passing on my Zuma, or bouncing off trees and rocks on my mountain bike. I am lucky enough to be married to my awesome wife Aspen, who not only puts up with me, also loves two wheeler's- motor and pedal powered. I have worked for a few different dealers in Texas and I can honestly say I haven’t worked with a dealership that flows together as well as here. Everybody takes a lot of pride in what they do, and that makes for a great work environment. Come by the shop and see for yourself. We aim to impress, whether we are servicing your current ride, or you are leaving with a new one!
