Mark Woods grew up in Texas and earned his CPA from Texas Tech University in Lubbock Texas. Mark's father Paul Woods founded Woods Honda in Austin, Texas (which is now Woods Fun Center) more than 35 years ago. Mark took over the day to day operation of the dealership after college. After selling Woods Fun Center, (click the link to read more about it) Mark purchased New Braunfels Cycle Country in 2006 and renamed the dealership Woods Cycle Country. Owner/Partner

Hello, My name is Claudia Woods. I was born in Dallas, Texas and attended Mountain View Junior College where I received an Associate Degree in Business. Mark and I have been married for 30 fun-filled, adventurous years and have been blessed with a daughter, Cayce who is 26 and a son, Paul who is 23. We moved to New Braunfels 4 years ago and just love it here. Now that our children are grown I have time to come help out at Woods Cycle Country. We have a great group of people to help you with your riding needs. Our showroom is stocked full with motorcycles to ride or race, Watercraft, and ATVs and UTVs for both work and play. Stop by and see us!

  • Mark J. Sheffield
    msheffield@woodscyclecountry.com

    General Manager

Thanks for taking the time out to visit the employee page of our website. For those of you who want to know a little about me, here goes: I was born in England (just north of London)and I have lived all over the world. I graduated from High School in Lumberton, Texas and 6 days later shipped off to Basic Training at Fort Leonard Wood. I traveled all over the world with the Army (including 9 months with the 1st Armored Division in Southeast Asia during operation Desert Storm). I finished my military service on a Monday in 1993 and started work at a small motorcycle dealership located just outside of Fort Hood on a Tuesday.

At this point, the PowerSports industry is all I know. Over the last 18 years I have worked at one of the largest multi-line dealerships in the United States, the second Honda Powerhouse dealership (Honda of Houston) in the nation, and I worked for a corporation that owned 17 dealerships across the country (America's PowerSports). While Woods Cycle Country is not one of the mega flashy dealerships that are all the rage right now, our modest dealership allows us to keep our overhead low, and we pass those savings on to our customers.

If you have a question, feel free to ask and I will be happy to tell you what I think. We look forward to seeing you in our dealership sometime soon.

  • Sharon Rincon
    srincon@woodscyclecountry.com

    Office Manager

Hi! I have been with Woods Cycle Country since April 2006. I am fairly new to the motorcycle business, but I have been in the automotive retail industry for 23 years (including World Car here in New Braunfels). Even though I am new to the motorcycle business, my husband has been a rider for years. I have been married for 26 years to an incredible man and have one son, Richard, who is 25. This is great place to work and a fantastic place to shop and visit. It's never been so easy for me to get up and drive into work. We're like a big family here. If you have any questions then stop by the office or just pop in to say "hi".

  • Joe Silvernail
    jsilvernail@woodscyclecountry.com

    Sales Manager

Powersports have always been a part of my life. I practically grew up on two wheels and I'm proud to say that from my first 50cc dirt bike to the ZX6 I ride today, I've never had a bike that wasn't lime green. I graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Business Management and have since turned my enthusiasm for the industry into a career. I'm excited to be a part of the team here at Woods Cycle Country and wouldn't want to live anywhere else but the Hill Country.

  • Andrew Dodd
    adodd@woodscyclecountry.com

    Parts Manager

Hi, I'm Andrew from Nashville, Tennessee! I have only been in Texas a few years now, but really feel at home, especially in my position here with WCC! I've been with the company since February, 2010, although I've worked in the motorcycle industry since I was 18. My passion for two wheels started early when I was about 3 or 4 years old, with my first Honda xr 50, and my first street bike (ZX-6) when I was 14 a little much but it's only as fast as you twist it. In my time I have owned many bikes and currently have a rather large selection in my garage right now . I've mastered a few stunts in my time, also checked myself in and out of the hospital a few times, and some scars and broken bones to go with it. I've tried to put that behind me with the birth of my son Maddox, in 2009. I have tried to focus on him riding his pw50 and I'm not going to lie it's scary! Can you say FULL THROTTLE? I live, eat, breathe two wheels and I truly enjoy everything involved with this industry look forward to meeting new people and hearing stories of The Ride. Don't be afraid to come in and ask for me.

    Dream Fulfillment

Everyone has a small part of this industry somewhere inside! I threw my leg over my first motorcycle at the age of 4 and have never turned back. I went through all sizes of dirt bikes and finally landed on my recent purchase of the 2012 KX250F. I BLEED LIME GREEN!. I started here at Woods Cycle Country 3 years ago in the Parts Department and have since made my way to the Sales Floor. Look for the desk near the motocross section and I'll be glad to introduce myself.

  • Colby Manning
    cmanning@woodscyclecountry.com

    Technician

My name is Colby Manning, I have been wrenching on Motorcycles and ATV’s for a little more than 15 years now and I love what I do. I started out riding dirt bikes around the yard, then through the woods and finally racing motocross through most of my twenties. Nowadays you can find me draft-passing on my Zuma, or bouncing off trees and rocks on my mountain bike. I am lucky enough to be married to my awesome wife Aspen, who not only puts up with me, also loves two wheeler's- motor and pedal powered. I have worked for a few different dealers in Texas and I can honestly say I haven’t worked with a dealership that flows together as well as here. Everybody takes a lot of pride in what they do, and that makes for a great work environment. Come by the shop and see for yourself. We aim to impress, whether we are servicing your current ride, or you are leaving with a new one!
