Mark Woods grew up in Texas and earned his CPA from Texas Tech University in Lubbock Texas. Mark's father Paul Woods founded Woods Honda in Austin, Texas (which is now Woods Fun Center) more than 35 years ago. Mark took over the day to day operation of the dealership after college. After selling Woods Fun Center, (click the link to read more about it) Mark purchased New Braunfels Cycle Country in 2006 and renamed the dealership Woods Cycle Country. Mark is now a resident of New Braunfels, and splits his time between New Braunfels and Austin.

I lived in Lubbock, Texas for almost 8 years and received my Masters from Texas Tech University. Since then, I've moved down to New Braunfels and I'm glad to be back in the Hill Country again. Hello, My name is Claudia Woods. I was born in Dallas, Texas and attended Mountain View Junior College where I received an Associate Degree in Business. Mark and I have been married for 30 fun-filled, adventurous years and have been blessed with a daughter, Cayce who is 26 and a son, Paul who is 23. We moved to New Braunfels 4 years ago and just love it here. Now that our children are grown I have time to come help out at Woods Cycle Country. We have a great group of people to help you with your riding needs. Our showroom is stocked full with motorcycles to ride or race, Watercraft, and ATVs and UTVs for both work and play. Howdy. I’m Phillip Waggoner. I was born in France in the 80’s. My parents both worked for a company that exported underwear for men and women, and in the 90’s we moved to San Francisco so that my family could work more closely with our importers. After dropping out of high school in the 90’s, I obtained an associates degree from Madame Pompadour’s school of fashion. In order to easily navigate around San Francisco, I purchased a Vespa scooter, and over 3 years I put 84,378 miles on that beast. I greatly enjoyed the scooter lifestyle and ended up spending a lot of time at the local Vespa dealer. They finally offered me a full-time job as a janitor, and then I worked my way up through the business. Last year, after splitting with my significant other, I moved to Texas and started looking for a job in the motorcycle industry. WCC was nice enough to hire me. I love working for this company. While my French accent is pretty thick, I’d love it if you took the time to come down and meet. Merci beaucoup.

I have been married for 38 years to an incredible man and have one son, Richard, who is 38. This is a great place to work and a fantastic place to shop and visit. Meet Squarepants "The Sardine King" Anderson, the only Powersports Parts Manager who can diagnose a clutch issue while simultaneously critiquing the finer points of tinned fish. A Lithuanian refugee with a deep love for two-stroke engines and questionable seafood choices, Anderson has an encyclopedic knowledge of every bolt, gasket, and sprocket in stock—though her coworkers swear she keeps a secret stash of sardines behind the counter. When she’s not arguing with suppliers or tracking down that one impossible-to-find part, she’s probably trying to convince the service techs that pickled herring pairs perfectly with brake fluid fumes.

That bike was my pride and joy and I rode it from south to north Austin and all points in between. I have been in the power sports industry for 10 years now and it is the industry I intend to be in for the rest of my career. I love it! I now ride a 2011 Kawasaki Ninja 1000. I have a wonderful wife named Sherrie and 5 wonderful kids, Krista, David,Cherisse, Jacob and Nia. My ranch/wildlife background before powersports gives me a unique understanding of usage as well!

If he weren’t here, you’d probably find him in the oilfield or chasing a dream in the music industry. “Say It” by 6 Market Blvd plays when he walks in, and his Texas accent usually gets there first. His dream powersports day? Mud, trails, and a four-wheeler that doesn’t quit. As for tacos — he’s an equal-opportunity eater: all tacos are good tacos. Well, KC could no longer suppress his desire to become a superhero—or his love for motorcycles. So, he left paradise behind and trained his body and mind in the ancient arts of Kawasaki Ninjitsu and Suzuki Samurai.
After earning a degree in Twitchy Wrist, he came to Texas to finally fulfill his two-wheeled destiny.
With 12 years of powersports experience and serious technical know-how, KC still finds the perfect ride ever elusive, taunting him daily—even as he helps others chase their own dreams.
You can find him drooling over the ZX-14R or sprinting to save a customer from buying that oversized helmet, thinking, “Yeah… this fits just right.”

When he’s not holding things down as the team’s go-to quartermaster, he’s dreaming of off-roading from beach to beach in Costa Rica with a longboard in tow. Mark Wahlberg would have to play him in a movie—with “Fortunate Son” by CCR as the main theme song.

Hi there, my name is Adrian Acosta and I'm from a little town south of Houston called Alvin, Texas. My passion for this industry really started when I turned 16 almost ten years ago and bought my first street bike, a 2004 Yamaha R6. After that I knew where my heart and desire lies. Shortly after highschool I attended MMI Phoenix and took Kawasaki K-Tech & Suzuki FAST. Now with 3 years in the industry, started out as a tech, then went to parts, now I'm the Make Ready/Set-up Supervisor here at Woods Cycle Country. I spend most of my work days building cool and tricked out machines for our customers here in the awesome town of New Braunfels, Texas. I like to spend my off time riding one of my two motorcycles, I also enjoy doing some dirt riding when I can. I hope to to help this dealership grow, and to grow with it. I commute and work most days here at Woods Cycle Country with my loyal companion Paul Woods. You can usually find me in the "big office".
My daily duties consist of watching over the showroom, looking adorable for customers and an occasional nap on the sofa. I do enjoy my breaks to the side yard where I always get to play ball.
Don't let my pretty appearance fool you. I am quite the hunting dog and always work my best for Paul. Please excuse the scar on my snout, I was recently bit by a rattlesnake, but it's healing up nicely.
